Each property we use has been personally selected by Auswalk’s owners to ensure your comfort. We favour places with lots of character. Each place is different and each will contribute something special to your walking holiday experience. Arrive as strangers – leave as friends!
It could be an historic guesthouse, homely B&B, seaside cottage, alpine ski lodge, resort hotel, luxurious eco lodge or country motel. Relax in the spa at a grand manor house, enjoy the old-fashioned hospitality of a cosy country B&B or surround yourself in heritage decor at a gracious historic homestead. Dine el fresco in a tropical eco retreat, watch the sun set from your secluded alpine chalet or share the garden with creatures of the bush in a charming rustic cottage.
Occasionally, remote locations mean that the only accommodation available is simple in nature, such as historic lighthouse keepers’ cottages and outback cattle stations. What they may lack in star ratings they more than make up for in character and ambience.
When we use motels, we look for small, family-run places in attractive locations.
